Mild and a little smoke returning. Cows break out into bottoms. N and I quickly get the mob back to where they were, and then moved to 3rd split. Cow now watering at Lackey Cattleguard tank.

Clear and mild with continued cool mornings, and a hot afternoon. Two splits in NBW5.
Warming and dry. Cows move (break into) to 1st split in NBW5. With the new fall growth also comes excellent germination conditions for our common winter annuals like Japanese brome, cheatgrass, and alyssum.
Attempts at rain but nothing measurable arrives. Last two splits in NBW7-8.
Clear and warming through the period-ideal fall temperatures. Moving cows daily. Steady welcome greening resulting from last week’s rain. Natalie had a cool time with a team doing a documentary on ranching, climate change, and regen practices on the 25th. BJ has started on the pipeline project. Maybe some more rain in the forecast.
Light shower last night and continued mild. Excellent conditions for moisture to settle deeper into the soil profile. Cows move to 2nd split in NBW7-8. Watching closely a sick cow (618). Three big porcupines arrived this evening.
Hot with forecast for cooling and showers mid-week. Entered in NBW14a during evening and left morning of the 19th.
Mostly warm and dry. Two more splits in10, yet there is spill over into 9 and 14.
