Windy and mild. Cow broke out of temporary paddock into rest of NBW3, while visiting sanghas in Helena and Bozeman. A group of about 70 found their way to the creek bottom, which I got back.

A ridiculously comfortable day-warm, gentle, and no wind. Cows moved into first split in NBW3. I left maybe 2 or 3 Ads/acre back in 16.
Hard morning frost followed by 50’s for the day. No moves. 474 and 286 are potential short-term cows.
On the road. No moves. Light snow on the 26th following more wind. Cows moved to second split on NBW16.
Light frost with crispy SW breeze. Re-check on numbers: Tested 341; 19 dry and 322 bred; sold 18 dry and 23 bred culls (41 left herd); leaves 300 bred cows; 14 are marked for optional further culling, and (1) 3 year old dry.
Ridiculous gusty winds all day, and I was leaning into the steady gusts almost all day preparing next paddock (NBW16) for the cows. We cut 13 of the first cycle-bred culls back into the herd, so the remaining culls could fit in the truck on Tuesday.
Mild and Breezy. Pregnancy tested cattle: 322 bred (84 3’s; 30 bred culls; 207 mature cows; 19 open). Cows (305) moved in SNG6, and culls fed in corral. Great corral team and great chili!
SNG6 and County Road. Strong winds and warm temperatures. Grazed road into SNG6 as we prep for pregnancy testing tomorrow.
Back side of WG4 and 5 (The new 4a paddock). The last week has been windy and warm-drying conditions with a little more greening. Cows spilled back into WG4.
