Rain backs off in the afternoon. Cows moved into 1st split in NBW7
Rain all night and all day with cold north winds. Cows very uncomfortable and some were piling up against temporary fence. Cows moved into 2nd split in the afternoon.
Rain returns again in the afternoon. Cows moved across county road into fresh feed in first split in NBW14a in the morning.
Dana and I both head to separate coasts, and Ryan takes 3 days off for his and Fawne’s anniversary. Cows remained camped in NBW13 and NBW12. Three days of rain over the weekend bring on mushrooms, including edible puffballs. Pause paddock.
Cooler. I graze the cows into NBW13. New tank is working great at Big Wall, through much fine-tuning by Ryan with pressure relief value that is now located in the new housing south of WL cell center.
Warm and mild. Cows move through 4 more splits in East side of NBW16.
Mild and warmer. I moved cows in the morning to 3rd split in NBW16.
Warming back up. No moves today. Dana and I met with Roland on finances. Shane at BLM agreed to TNR numbers for 570 AUMs.
Some more rain and continued cool temps. Roland and Shane reviewed grass cover to help determine a fair TNR request. Cows move into 2nd split in NBW16.
